1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using SCREENS, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

SCREENS provides a real-time screen-sharing service that allows users to broadcast their screen to viewers via shareable links. Features vary based on subscription tier.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use SCREENS. By using our service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must provide accurate information when registering
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use SCREENS to:

• Share illegal content or facilitate illegal activities
• Broadcast copyrighted material without authorization
• Share pornographic, obscene, or sexually explicit content
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate others
• Share content that exploits or harms minors
• Distribute malware or engage in phishing
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Resell or redistribute the service without permission

6. Viewer Links

When you create a stream, you receive a unique viewer link. You are responsible for controlling who receives this link. Anyone with the link can view your stream until it ends. We recommend sharing links only with intended viewers.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

• Free tier is available with limited features
• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly
• Payment is processed securely through Stripe
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

8. No Refunds

All payments made to SCREENS are final and non-refundable. This includes, without limitation:

• Monthly and annual subscription fees
• Partial billing periods remaining after cancellation
• Fees for upgraded or changed subscription tiers
• Any charges incurred before account suspension or termination

By subscribing, you acknowledge that you will not receive a refund for any unused portion of a billing period. If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing cycle, but no pro-rated or partial refund will be issued. We strongly encourage you to evaluate the service using the free tier before purchasing a paid subscription.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

10. Intellectual Property

The SCREENS service, including its design, code, and branding, is our intellectual property. You retain ownership of any content you share through the service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination:

• Your access to the service will end immediately
• Any active streams will be terminated
• We may retain certain data as required by law

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCREENS IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Content shared by users through the service
• Unauthorized access to your streams due to shared links

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SCREENS and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
